If you don’t want to use chemicals as sunscreen, then you will like this homemade DIY version from natural ingredients.

I love the filling of sunshine on my skin, and I thing reasonable staying on sun is great for our health, but I don’t like risking with staying too long on the sun.

Most of the ingredients of this formula has natural SPF and because this is natural recipe and was not tested by regulatory organization, I can’t guess the combination with SPF and cannot do any claims. Ingredients that are naturally SPF are:

HOMEMADE SUNSCREEN

  • Red Raspberry Seed Oil SPF 25-50
  • Coconut Oil- SPF 4-6
  • Zinc Oxide SPF 2-20 (depending on how much used)
  • Shea Butter – SPF 4-6
  • Almond Oil- SPF around 5
  • Carrot Seed Oil – SPF 35-40

Ability against sun depends of how much each ingredient has been used. This sunscreen protector is not totally waterproof and that’s why you will need to put it on the skin after swimming or sweating. Don’t breathe in Zinc Oxide, if you want you can use a mask while putting on.  The following recipe has about 15 SPF, but with adding more Zinc Oxide you will rise the SPF. Put some more beeswax if you want thicker sunscreen, or less if you want smooth sunscreen. You can put coconut or vanilla extract or lavender essential oil for better smell.
